Tips for a Perfect Fit:
1. Using a Ring Sizer
If you have a ring that fits well, place it on a ring sizer tool and note the size marked inside. This is the quickest method.
2. The String Method
Wrap a piece of string around your finger at the base, marking where it overlaps. Measure the string length in millimetres and divide by 3.14 to find your diameter. Compare this to a ring size chart to determine your UK size.
3. The Paper Strip Method
Cut a strip of paper about 1cm wide. Wrap it snugly around your finger and mark where it meets. Measure the length and use a ring size conversion chart to find your size.

Important Tips
Measure at the end of the day when your finger is slightly warmer and at its largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as fingers shrink. If you're between sizes, choose the larger one for comfort. Remember that different ring styles may fit differently — wider bands often require a larger size than thinner ones.
When in Doubt
Contact us with your measurements and we'll help you find the perfect size for your new ring.
Every piece that leaves this house is made to be worn today and passed down tomorrow. The metals are hallmarked. The stones are selected. The making is careful. With the right care, none of that changes — not for a generation, not for two.
The most important rule...
Put Your Jewellery On Last
Perfume, hairspray, face oils, and sunscreen are the most common sources of jewellery damage. They dull stones, weaken settings, and alter the appearance of certain metals over time. Apply everything else first. Let it dry. Then put on your jewellery. Take it off before you wash your hands.
General care
Cleaning & Polishing
For regular upkeep, a soft lint-free cloth wiped gently across the metal removes natural skin oils and light residue before they dull the surface.
For a deeper clean, fill a small bowl with warm (not hot) water and a drop of mild dish soap. Let the piece soak for two to three minutes, then work gently around the setting and any crevices with a soft toothbrush. Rinse under clean water and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Do not leave pieces to air dry.
Avoid ultrasonic cleaners and steam cleaners. They are not suitable for pieces with pearls, porous stones, or lab-grown emeralds, and can loosen settings on any piece over time.
Storage
Store each piece separately, in its own soft pouch. Contact between pieces is where most scratching happens — a harder stone or metal pressed against a softer one leaves marks that accumulate invisibly. Each Moyiola Abeo piece is delivered in its own pouch. Keep it there when the piece is not being worn.
For travel, a jewellery wallet with lined, separate compartments prevents tangling and scratching in transit. Necklaces should be stored fully clasped and laid flat. The Tidal Crest Collar and Torque Necklace are sculptural pieces — store flat, never coiled tightly.
Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat. A cool, dry, dark space is where all precious materials fare best.
For detailed instructions on specific material type care for metals and gemstones, refer to our full Jewellery Care Guide containing information on all types of hallmarked metals and certified gemstones used in Moyiola Abeo jewellery.
Repairs & the lifetime guarantee
Every Moyiola Abeo piece comes with a lifetime craftsmanship guarantee. If a setting loosens, a clasp fails, or a piece requires attention due to a craftsmanship issue, we will repair or replace it.
If your piece needs attention for any reason, contact the concierge first. We will advise on whether a repair is something a local jeweller can handle, or whether the piece should return to us. For restringing pearl pieces, replating white gold, or any work specific to the original making, we recommend coming back to us directly.
Damage from impact, misuse, or lack of care falls outside the craftsmanship guarantee. We will still advise wherever we can.
We want every piece to reach you exactly as it left our atelier, and we want you to feel confident placing your order.
Every piece is begun only when you order it — in your size, to your specification. Because nothing we sell exists before it's yours, we don't offer returns.
What we offer instead is meant to be worth more than a returns window. Every piece carries our Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty: repairs for life, resizing, and stone replacement. That promise doesn't expire in 14 days, or ever.
If something is genuinely wrong when your piece arrives, contact us straight away. Our team reviews these cases personally, and in exceptional circumstances we may offer an exchange or reimbursement in store credit.
Bespoke commissions and engraved pieces are made entirely for you and are always final.
Questions before you order? That's what the Concierge is for — ask first, be certain, then buy.

CERTIFICATION & HALLMARKS
Every Moyiola.Abeo piece is struck with an independent UK hallmark — the assay office's own stamp in the metal, confirming your gold or silver is exactly what we say it is. It's small, it's permanent, and it will still be legible when the piece belongs to someone you love.
Your gemstone's certificate travels with the piece itself. Because everything is made to order, the paperwork is prepared for your piece specifically and arrives in the box; proof in hand.
MAKE IT YOURS
Want this in a different metal or stone?
Most pieces can be adjusted before they're made — a different stone, a different metal, a size beyond the chart, or a matching piece to complete a set. Because nothing is made until you order it, changes are simpler than you'd think, and we quote each one personally. Engraving is always on the house.

About our Jewellery
It's the standard every piece has to meet before it leaves us. Hallmarked precious metals, certified gemstones, and construction that can be worn daily and repaired for life... because an heirloom isn't a piece you lock away, it's one that survives being loved. The brand began with our founder's grandmother's collection; that's the bar.
We are a London-based jewellery house with Nigerian roots. Every piece is made to order by a small team of skilled artisans in India, and bespoke commissions are designed with you through our Bespoke Artelier.
We use premium ethically sourced metals such as solid 9k, 18K and 14K gold, white gold, platinum, and sterling silver — all hallmarked depending on the design.
A surface that wears away has no business on a piece meant to outlive you.
Yes. Every gemstone we set is certified by reputable gemological organizations such as GIA, IGI, or AGS, ensuring their quality and authenticity and every precious metal is hallmarked.
If you'd like the paperwork explained before you buy, ask us — the Client Concierge exists for exactly this.
Sizing, bespoke & Adjustments
Our ring size guide walks you through measuring at home in a few minutes. If you're between sizes, buying as a surprise, or simply unsure, write to us through our Contact Page — we'd rather spend ten minutes on sizing now than have your ring travel twice.
It's recommended to choose your correct size during checkout but most rings can be resized at a cost. Contact us with your order number and we'll advise on your specific piece and quote.
A: Absolutely! We provide bespoke jewellery design services through our online atelier, allowing you to create a unique piece tailored to your preferences, ranging from custom engagement rings, wedding bands and custom jewelry.
You bring the story and the occasion; we bring the design and a Client Concierge who stays with you from first sketch to delivery. Start with an enquiry and tell us what you're marking.
Of course! Schedule a one-on-one consultation online through our online atelier or our contact us link on the website.
Consultations are unhurried and without obligation, bring questions, heirlooms you'd like reimagined, or nothing but an occasion.

Each piece is made to order, which takes 3–4 weeks, plus delivery. Bespoke commissions take longer so your Concierge will give you a date at the start, and if you're working toward a proposal or an anniversary, tell us the date and we'll work backwards from it.
Email us at info@moyiolaabeo.com or use the chat on any page. A real person replies 24 hours — the same team that will know your order by name.
More on our Offerings
A piece made to be passed down has to be made to last.
If any fault in our workmanship appears — a loose setting, a failed clasp, a worn joint — we repair it, or replace the piece, at no cost, for as long as you own it. For life, and for as long as whoever you pass it down to owns it.
Damage from accident or mis-wear is assessed case by case, honestly.
It starts with a conversation. You tell us what you'd like to make — a ring, earrings, a pendant, along with your budget and the stones and metals you have in mind. If the budget and the idea want different things, we'll say so and guide you toward what works. You share pictures of jewellery you love, and we sketch. We edit that sketch together until it's right, then turn it into a 3D rendition for your approval before anything is made. The making takes 3–4 weeks; then your piece is engraved and delivered. Nothing moves forward without your yes — that's the difference between buying a piece and commissioning one.
The right care will maintain pieces to be kept for decades. Maintain your daily-wear jewellery as specified for all metals and gemstones in our Jewellery Care Guide.
Every piece arrives in our MA signature box, ready to give.
